Dance Moms-Paige's Recital Solo

I truly believe that Abby loves Paige, if not, why would she have given Paige a new solo at the recital. Abby said so herself that none of Paige's competition pieces were that great so she and the other teachers had decided to give Paige a new solo so she could shine. Kelly was unhappy about that because all the other girls were doing old solos and Paige was the only one doing a new solo. This was when I realized that Kelly as much as I loved her might be a little "dumb". First of all, Asia was doing a new solo also so it wouldn't only Paige doing a new solo. Second of all, the girls learn a new dance every week in about 3 days to perform in a competition, how would this be any different? What Kelly was practically saying when she object to Paige's new solo is that she doesn't believe that her daughter is capable of learning a solo in a few days and performing it. Who's putting your child down now? Kelly has gotten deep into Paige's mind now that Paige can barely think for herself, she only does what her mom wants. Abby told Paige at pyramid that she was doing a new solo, and when Abby asked her if she wanted to Paige answered "I thought I was doing an old solo", but Abby had told you that you were doing a new solo. If I were Paige, I would have grabbed that opportunity to show Abby that I am worth the Attention. I believe that if Paige really loved dance like she claimed she does, then nothing would have stopped her from doing a new solo.
